Marlena Newman Obituary

NEWMAN-Marlena (Wisniewski) Haslett, MI, formerly of Depew, NY. Born February 11, 1939, in Lipno, Poland; died April 5, 2008, at the age of 69. Marlena was a very warm and loving person who cared about all that she came in contact with. She was an ex-hockey mom who loved gardening and traveling the U.S., and Europe. Marlena was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Newman, and brother, Bogdan Wisniewski. Surviving are her sons, Stephen (Grace) Newman of New Jersey and Darrel (Michelle) Newman of East Lansing; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Collin, and Parker Newman; and brother, John Wisniewski. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, 2049 George Urban Blvd., Depew, NY. The family is being served by the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing, MI.
