As the kids next door, we were always in & out of the Spoths house. We knew where to go for clams casino on a summer night, where to go to see the fantastic train set-up at Christmas, and where to go for a hearty laugh and good cheer anytime of year - the Spoths! Marg was the dynamo behind all the fun. She didn't mind two kids crawling over the fence between the yards to play with their German shepherd Tammy or just running around under foot with her own gang.
While we eventually moved away from Howard Ave., we kept in touch and stayed connected. John visited for Bills games and Marg & Penny came to Sheila's wedding in September 2007. We are better people for having Marg, Dick, and the entire Spoth family in our lives. Marg will be deeply missed. But she leaves us with very special childhood memories of our time as "the kids next door".
Please know we send our love and are thinking of you.
