My heart was broken when I heard of Jay's death. He was such a great person. The last time we talked he was looking forward to one of his ideas to be completed. Was hoping to visit Florida and his cousins Mike & Kari. He was such a handsome young man, with a brilliant mind. We will all miss him. Love you Joe ! !

Lori and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of J.P.'s passing. Through the years I heard many good words about him and knew you were all proud of his accomplishments and drive. May you take comfort in God's Love and promises. "Absent from the body is to be present with the Lord".

John, Lori & Jason, I'll always remember the fun we had back in the "DAY" when we were all young Life was so simple, best friends meant everything and older "cousin's" were like mentors. Joe had made an impression on me that I will never forget or lose. His last visit here was great as he headed for home. Life is way too short, He will be sadly missed. With much love Marc Arquit & Family

Joe was a friend of my son, Dante. and I met him in Los Angeles many years ago. His intelligence, friendliness and humor were impressive.. I'll always remember how kind he was to "put this traveler up", as I was visiting L.A., and rather than send me to a hotel he invited me stay with him and Dante.
How sad that his life was cut short, as he had much to offer us all, and he will be missed.

Joe was an outstanding visionary, certainly well ahead of his time. My memories of spending time with him will live on forever. I'm glad that I have many fond memories of our childhood together. Aunt Lori & Uncle John and Jason, my heart pours with grief over our loss however, I know that God has a plan for everybody...he will always be remembered for his kind heart. May God bless you. I love you, Joe.

JP, You will be missed CUZ! I will always remember your grander and ideas. Your ideas were always unique, sometimes off the wall yet beyond its time and then a few were far off in left field! ;>) But that is what always kept conversation with you lively and entertaining. I always looked up to you as a "cooler older cousin" when you went off to California to pursue your dreams to become a congressman. I envied your strong will to go after your dreams and most of all your pursuit of happiness for that big mansion in the sky with tons of money, freedom and wealth to satisfy every desire you ever had. So cuz tell my grandmother I love her in that big mansion in the sky you are in and keep everyone together so when I get up there ill have some of that "skunky German bier, Kostritzer" you used to like at my house! To quote a great movie Braveheart, "Every man dies, not every man really lives" I believe JP really lived, and I don't think if he had to live over again he would do anything different other than visiting all of his loved ones more and trying to get all us together to become a closer family. Salute to you my cuz for being a in-law that was true at heart and a real character.

As a new star shines in the sky above he says that he is fine.
And every time that you feel loved he's sending you his sign.
So turn the pain and remember and he hopes that you will see,
though this life is not forever,
forever young we all will be.

Joe was truly one of the most brilliant minds I've ever met. His laughter was contagious. His smile wide and bright. He was always thinking and hoping for a big break. I know he'll be a superstar in heaven.

Dear Joe and Nancy,
For the last twelve years Joe has been my closest friend. I campaigned for him when he ran for Congress in the 80's, and in California as well. We had great times in Malibu. Joe was truly brilliant, with a heart of gold. He was a modern day Da Vinci in a sense, and his light was lost before it's time.
