Aunt Terry and all my cousins,
I am so sorry about Uncle Gene. My mom (Joan) was so happy the last few weeks to be able to speak to her brother. She misses him so much as all of you do. I will always remember all the great stories that my mom told us over the years of the two of them growing up. Isn't it wonderful how the two of them ended up with 5 kids each and how we kids multiplied that number? All my memories of him will always be of his big smiling face. I know that heaven is a brighter place right now! I have all you in my prayers. Jeanne

Dear Terry and Family,

We were a great big family, growing up, parties, weddings, and getting together often. We will never forget "Mean Gene", a wonderful husband, father and friend to all of my eleven children and then my grandchildren. Going out on St. Patrick's Day was very special to me and all of our Irish family, who wore the green that day. When I see green beer, I will think of Gene, my best friend.

I was deeply sadden yesterday when I recieved word that Mr Barry had passed away. He was a great freind of my family. There are too many memories to go into, as my family and the Barry family grew up together as if we were one family.
We spent our yearly vacations together for many, many years and they have left me with the best memories anyone could ever hope to have. Camping in ASP, Summers at the Jersey Shore, the Westinghouse picinics at Crystal Beach, the bowling and roller skating, etc......
These memories are never forgoten as they are part of me. The funny thing with life is that sometimes we lose touch with alot of people who have really been a major part of our life I don't know if its the way life becomes more complicated as you grow up and start a family, begin new jobs, moving to new places but
I guess its one possible explanation.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Father and Husband.
