ROMEY - Vivianne G. (nee Durham) Of Buffalo, entered into rest June 15, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Leroy Romey; devoted mother of Gina (Jeffery) Grant, John D. King and Leroy (Lorielee) Mais-Romey; fond step-mother of Edward (Earline) Courton; cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Otis and Geneva (Sowell) Durham; dear sister of Joan Foster and Elizabeth (Marca) Holmon; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the Emmanuel Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church, 300 Adam St., Buffalo, on Tuesday morning from 10-11, where the funeral service will immediately follow. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (City Chapel).

I was extremely saddened to hear of Mrs. Romey's passing. We shared countless episodes of good times together, and she will be deeply missed, but wonderfully remembered.

I was sad to hear of the home going of Mrs.Romey.I will always remember her especially how she knew to get her own way with out others knowing that this was what she was doing May God keep you strone in the coming days.God never makes a mistake.
