Dear Ann and Family,
So sorry for your loss. Joe's visit to California in January was so pleasant. For two weeks before my Mom got sick we didn't seem to have a care in the world. We knew Joe had pain but weren't thinking it was serious. Joe seemed to enjoy sitting around watching tv during the day visiting with Kathleen and me before we went to work and when we came home. We didn't do much very exciting stuff those two weeks. He talked a lot about his work-telling exciting stories but most of all he talked about how good his life was past and present. How proud he was of all his children. He would talk with a look of amazed delight that he and Ann had such great kids that turned out just fine. He talked about his joy at living in Florida, in the warmth, relaxed, being taken such good care of by Colleen. ("She spoils me you know, and I love every minute of it.") Sundays bringing donuts to Colleen and John with the special McDonald's order for Jake was the highlight of his week. He loved you all so much. It was an honor for me to know him, for him to be present in my life so directly as my Mother lay dying. He was a great help and support to us. God bless him and God bless you.

My deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to the entire Quinn family.
I worked with Joe for many years in the ECSD. I will always have fond memories of him. He was a wonderful person and a great friend. I’m grateful for the time that I was able to spend with him. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy in his family. He may be gone, but not forgotten.

For the best Dad in the world; a father who was always there for us, good times and bad. Supported us, nurtured us, loved us, unconditionally. "It is all smooth sailing from here Dad". Until we meet again...Love, TB

Mrs. Quinn, and the entire Quinn family you have my deepest sympathy. Joe was always a great friend and mentor. I will always remember him as the man behind the scene helping those of us that needed help. You never needed to reach out to Joe he just knew who needed it. I always called him "the Fixer" and you never needed to thank Joe, if you would tried he would stop you in your tracks and say friends don't thank friends it's just business, my friend!
I will miss you Joe, you will always be in my prayers. May God Bless you always.
