Please accept my sincerest and deepest condolences at the passing of Gloria from this earth. I, like so many others in her guest book, had the pleasure and privlege to work with her some years back.

She was the first person I needed to shadow with when I started the job. WHAT a gift that was!! We became fast friends. I so admired and respected Gloria.

What I will remember most about her though is when I was sick in the hospital and could not socialize w/anyone that visited because of the pain I was in, Gloria came to see me, sat with me and then layed her hands on my head. I will never forget the extreme warmth that generated from those hands of hers. It was like a small, temporary miracle, the pain in my head subsided for a short while!! This admission from a former skeptic in spiritual healing powers! Whatever happened that day, Gloria's extreme faith made it happen and made me a believer.

God Bless you all and BELEIVE.

With sincerest sympathy,

Dawn Lorenzo

I had the pleasure of working with Gloria for several years at Univera and in that time collected many fond memories. About a year ago I went to work for a local competitor. When the news came of her passing I was amazed by how many people from my new company were shocked and saddened by it. They all knew her from working in the community and although they spent time with her on a limited basis had grown to respect and admire her. She was the type of person that people remembered and she will be missed.

God works in mysterious ways-- I met Gloria in August 1993 at a Workplace Issues Forum held at the West Valley Demonstration Project in Springville --- and have not had the opportunity to be in her presence since then--just last week I found a copy of her business card--and memories came rushing back. We spent 2 days together at the workshop -- she was a delightful, warm, caring and funny woman. I remember I took her to the Springville Post Office during lunch so she could mail one high-heeled shoe to her sister which was left at Gloria/s home --- we laughed so hard about the concept of mailing one shoe. --- Gloria--- you are wonderful I am so glad I met you!

To The Hasley, Bass & Wallace Family;

Safely Home

She is home in Heaven, dear ones
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed:
She is now at peace forever, Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder how I so calmly Trod the valley of shade?
Oh! But Jesus' love illumined every dark and fearful glade.
And he came himself to meet her in that way so hard to tread.
And with Jesus' arm to lean on, could have no doubt or dread.
Then you must not grieve so sorely, For she loves you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our Father's will.
There is work still waiting for you. So you must not idly stand:
Do it now, while life remaineth - You shall rest in Jesus' land
when that work is all completed. He will gently call you home:
Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come!

Trust and believe God's Words, He will take care of you. Prayerfully

I always enjoyed sharing flowers from my garden with Gloria. The morning she died I had picked beautiful pink peonies from my garden and said to myself that I have to get these to Gloria and then I heard the very sad news a few hours later. Hope she is enjoying them in heaven. She was such a caring, kind person and we will all miss her at Univera. My sympathies to all her family and friends.

Gloria was a Facilitated Enroller here at Univera and loved the work she did and it showed in her warmth and sincerity. A faith filled individual, Gloria reached out to those in need, for which she surely received God's grace. For the short time I had the pleasure to know her, I will always remember our inspirational chats and how she touched the lives of so many.
