I know it has been a lot of years since we have seen each other and even longer since the last time I saw your dad. I have very fond memories of your family and our times together in high school and afterward. I pray that everyone in your family is watched over and filled with the strength that your father had. The world would be a much better place if there were more families like yours. God bless you my friend, and please know that I am with you even though I can't be there for you. When I lost my dad I was beside myself. So I have some small idea about how you must feel. Hang tough, and hold on to everything important in your life.

Im so sorry I couldnt be there with all of you. I hope you know I am with you guys in spirit, and that I will be home very soon. Grandpa did his part in WWII and now I am doing mine. I just hope I made him proud.
