Carm, Gino & Angela- I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. I deeply regret that I wasn't able to make the wake or funeral. You know your mother was like a grandmother to me and she treated me like I was one of her own. I remember all the times that I would sit and talk with her and I couldn't leave the house without having something to eat. It could have been her delicious homemade bread or spectacular spagetti sauce. She would make it a point to call me when she hadn't seen me for awhile and invite me over for dinner. She was such a sweetheart of a women. There were times she would walk to Wilson Farms and stop by my office in her travels to see how I was doing. She was always thinking of others and putting them before herself. We would talk for awhile to catch up but she always knew when it was her time to leave because she said she didn't want to bother me. I told her she could never be a bother to me and it was always my pleasure to be in her company. There were times in the winter that I would drive her home because I could tell she was too tired to walk. Again, we would sit in her driveway and talk about everything and anything including food, life, your father, kids, grandkids, etc. Boy, she loved you all! Through the years, your Mom truly missed your father. I now, will truly miss them both. The Village of Kenmore especially Victoria Blvd at the horsepath, will never be the same without her. I truly believe she is now enjoying her time in heaven with your father and cooking up a feast for all to enjoy. I will truly miss your mother and I hope she is at peace. God Bless you and your family and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
