My dearest Grandma,
I've been trying to write on here for a couple days now. It's so hard to lose you. I'm going to miss you dearly. I keep your blanket near me while I sleep. I know that where you are now is better for you, but I can't help but be selfish and wish you were still here. At least now you can watch me grow and finish my dreams, our dreams. You once told me how happy it made you that Nicole and I go to college and spend time together. Nicole and I will stay forever together, and I thank you for bringing her into my life.
I always dreamed of you watching my wedding and although you may not be there physically, I know you'll be there with me. You live through your children, my father. My Daddy will miss you dearly. I see the pain in his eyes. He loves you.
I love you, I miss you. My heart will always have a place for you. I went to see you today, alone. It was just something I wanted to do. We talked, and I cried, but I know that I'm gonna get through this. It's been very hard for me lately, and I told you all about it. Help me okay? I love you. See you later alligator. <3
Always,
Cheri' Ann

I'LL MISS YOU MOMMA .......
... God looked around his garden,
and found an empty space.
He looked down upon this earth,
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful ,
He only takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering.
He knew that you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
find peace upon this earth again.
He saw your road was getting
rough
and the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids,
and whispered " PEACE BE THINE".
It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
the day God called you home .
My Heart will cry FOREVER !!!

A Reminiscence
YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.
May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.
Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;
To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.
