I am not a guest, this is my grandpa and I just wanted to say that my grandpa was the stronget person I ever met in my entire life. He fought his illnesses everyday for a very long time, until he could no longer fight anymore. Grandpa I love you and miss you, and I am glad that you no longer have to suffer. If you are watching over me, you will see that I look at your pictures (especially that handsome military picture!) everyday and smile at you knowing that you are in a wonderful place now. Again, I love you grandpa.

I am not a guest but this is my dad and now a week later when I thought it would be better, it's not. I heard of the Mets and the Yankees yesterday and I missed daddy; I saw someone pulling a boat yesterday and I missed daddy, I met someone today from Sumter, SC while attending the AME Zion Gen. Conf. and I missed daddy and I spoke to Mommy today and this is the first day now when everyone has gone and she must begin to live a life without him after 53 years and again, I missed my dad. But, I know God and I trust God and I am glad for God allowing him to be my dad for my 50 years here on earth.
Dad, are you fishing now in heaven's pond (hee,hee)...
Your favorite 3rd child, Annette...

With my deepest sympathy & with heartfelt sadness I express to my Buffalo family: the Mellersons, my deepest condolence. During the time I spent in Buffalo, Mr. Mellerson & his family has often taken me into their home as well as a traveling companion with open-arms through friendship & blessings. Although I haven't seen you guys & gals in such a very long time, I too, feel the sorrow & emptiness that comes from God's devine decision to allow the Patriach of the Mellerson Family to journey to his Holy Palace of Heaven.
May the Lord Our Father, continue to Bless Mrs. Mellerson & her children in this time of sadness & grief.
To Mrs. Mellerson, I'm sure with the continual strength & support of your children, you're going to remain the Rock & Foundation of your family.
To my Frat Brother, Sands & most of all, Best Friend, I shed my tears for your Daddy's passing.
I love you all & you will always be in my prayers.

To My Dear Uncle Charlie:
It was so nice to have had time to send with you before your homegoing. Although you were so tired, it was fun being with family and having that old fashion laughter that we always shared. !!!!!!
I know that you are at peace now.
Tell Mother, I said "Hi"!! (smile)

I will truly miss my grandpa, he taught me many things, one of which is to make sure it's chicken I am eating and not rabbit! He was a very important person in the life of my son as well Austin misses him already, he fought a tough battle but in the end he died with diginty & grace now it is up to us to continue his legacy!

Words are hard to find at times like these, but let me assure you that each of you are in my heart and prayers. Uncle Charlie has now joined his sister and my mother. And together they have become a part of that great cloud of witnesses...Heb. 12:1. Our loved ones will continue to live through our memories and the things they taught us. I exhort each of you not to disappoint them, but let us run the race that is set before us. They ran a good race and now it's up to us to carry on their legacy
