Dear Mr. Tammaro,
You probably don't remember me, but I was one of your students (chemistry) in the MHS class of 1961. Although I didn't fully appreciate you then, you were one of my inspirational teachers. My sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your wife.

Some of us in this life are blessed to have people who become like family. As I grew up, almost every day, Irene was a second mother to me and as I became an adult she embraced my children and my wife making them feel loved by my parents' neighbor on those rare visits to Buffalo. I will always treasure my memories of her and thank God that I was more than a friend of the children but truly part of the Tammaro family. Our love to all of the family.
