GJURICH - Stanley July 11, 2008, of Blasdell, NY, beloved husband of Leposava Linda (nee Priljeva); dearest father of Kenneth, Nadine, Gregory (Mary) and Steven; loving grandfather of Taryn, Olivia, Tyler and Abigail; son of the late Michael and Lillian (nee Kocic) Gjurich; brother of Kathleen (Blagoje) Siljegovic, Samuel (Edith), Pauline Gorton and the late Steven; also survived by nieces and nephews. Services from THE COLONIAL MEMORIAL CHAPELS INC., 3003 South Park Ave., Lackawanna, NY Monday at 9:30 and from St. Stephen Serbian Orthodox Church at 10 AM with Pomen Sunday at 7:30 PM. Mr. Gjurich was a member of Matthew Glab Post #1477, Orchard Park Senior Center and former Director of St. Stephens Tamburitzans. Visitation Sunday only 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Stan was a wonderful person. I was blessed to work with him at Magtrol, and remain friends years after we no longer worked there. I never met a man more proud of his family and heritage than Stan. Stan was very much like a grandfather to me, after having lost mine at a very young age. He helped me through the perils of my young brother going through cancer back in 1989. He was a very dear friend and he will be very missed. God Bless to the entire Gzurich family - he loved you all very very much.
