Stella Metka Obituary

METKA - Stella J. (nee Nowak) July 21, 2008; wife of the late John Metka Sr.; mother of Rev. John J., Adrian (Karen) and the late Colette J. Metka; sister of the late Jenny (late Fred) Komoff, late Edward (late Jane) Nowak, late Helen (Henry) Wozniak, late Loretta (late Albert) McCann; grandmother of Alan (Geilan) Metka, Amy (Jeffrey) Hays; survived by six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family present to receive friends Thursday from 5-8 PM at the PERNA- PELLEGRINO FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Rd. Family and friends are asked to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM on Friday celebrated from St. Pius X Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stellas name may be made to St. Pius X Church. Arrangements by Constance Perna-Pellegrino.
