I am Aunt Una Letson (Forcier)'s daughter. Gary just let me know. We are shocked by the news. Please have Gert get in touch with us. If she needs anything, please let us know. I assume she still has her house in Schroon Lake and we would be glad to visit and help her. God bless all of you in your grief. We extend our deepest sympathy.

I had the honor and privilege to work with Peg at WNYDDSO, and no matter how busy she was she always took the time to talk to you, and to give you one of her great smiles. She will be missed by all.

Peg's memory will be that of kindness, love, good humor, and patience. She was always there with a big smile and intelligent conversation.....with a good laugh thrown in. She will be missed dearly.

Fondly I remember our Sunday visits to Grandma Eliza's farm for Sunday dinner. Ilene, Robert and I send our heartfelt condolences to Carra, Aunt "Gert", Larry, and all who were close to Peggy.
I deeply regret not having more contact with Peggy over the years, but she was never missing from my thoughts.

From all friends and relatives in the Adirondacks.....Our hearts are heavy that we cannot be there with you during this difficult time. You are all in our thoughts and prayers...Carra, Gertrude, Larry, Penny, and others. Many people from Schroon Lake are saddened by the news, and we all are embracing good memories of Peg. A Reminiscence
YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.
May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.
Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;
To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.
