SLISH - Martin J. 83, died July 23, 2008 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Center. Husband of the late Loretta (Mack) Slish (2003) and son of the late George and Rose (Slish) Mincar; father of Judith (William) Leardini of Youngstown; brother of Rose Marie (Martin) Sanden of Dunkirk and George (Barb) Mincar of Huntington, VT; grandfather of Christopher (Leslie) Leardini, Andrew (Kristen) Leardini and Matthew (Carrie) Leardini; great-grandfather of Drew, Joseph and Nicholas; also several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Friday in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls where prayers will begin Saturday at 11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in Prince of Peace R.C. Church, 1065 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Town of Lewiston. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Assn., 2805 Wehrle Drive, Williamsville, NY 14221.

Dear Judy, I am sorry to read of your father's death. He had a long life and I'm sure you hold many dear memories. I am also amazed to know that your boys are grown and married with kids. Time flies.
