Debbi and I are so very thankful and proud to have had Jerry as such a good friend. We certainly have had our fun over the years, but more importantly, we have learned so much from Jerry about courage and strength and dignity, and for being thankful for your family and friends and letting them know you care. Judy, you have been amazing. To the Gorman family, we hope you can take comfort in knowing that Jerry loved you all so much and is now at peace. Until we meet again Jer....Love, Debbi and Russ

My sincere sympathies to Billy, Rose and the rest of the Gorman family. Jerry was always a fun loving guy to be with and we had some great times in the past. I recall the funniest time was when Jerry had stripped the interior of his car (for some reason) and was using a lounge car as a driver seat. Some times we excellerated a little hard and the seat would almost fly back. I think it was the start of the "low rider" fad because you could barely see his head while driving. I will remember all of the good times we had and will miss him dearly.

You have lost a father, brother, son, and dear friend. Although we’ve lost touch over the years, my memories of Jerry are so very special. Being in touch with him these last few weeks I was in awe of his strength – in hindsight, it really shouldn’t have been a surprise, he always was so strong.

My thoughts are you, and may you find peace in knowing that Jerry is still smiling and watching over all of you! God bless, Jer…

Jerry,
I remember at least ten of us had a pancake eating contest at Denny's. As thin as you were, you slowly and methodically ate far more pancakes than any of us. We couldn't believe it. Your mother was wonderful too, letting us have those occasional parties at her house.
Through high school I enjoyed your sense of humor and quiet intelligence. We had alot of fun. Unfortunately, we lost touch. I am sorry for that. I won't forget you.

To walk through the valley of death requires bravery and strength. Jerry, you are brave. Jerry, you are strong. We secured 1st place, but you did not bask in the glory. Jerry you are humble.
