Irene Tarbox Obituary

TARBOX - Irene Jean (nee Isbell) Departed this life on July 15, 2008, in Pompano Beach, Florida, having been a South Buffalo resident for many years earlier in her life. Daughter of the late Emeline King; loving wife of the late William John Tarbox, Sr.; survived by her dear sister Ruth (George) Conklin of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation. Left behind are the children who loved her, Jean Catherine (Jack) Rogers-Downes, William John (Marie) Tarbox, Jr., Michael Arthur Tarbox, Patricia Ann Gottesman and Kathleen Irene Tarbox; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held next month in New Smyrna Beach, Florida at the convenience of the family. Local arrangements by the KRAEER FUNERAL HOMES of Pompano Beach, Florida.

Jean will always be remembered as a loving, laughing person. I can hear her laughter even today. Having grown up around her, she was a great example for me for happiness. Enjoy your party in heaven Jean and tell Bill hello from us.
