My mother has been a resident at St. Elizabeth's Home in Lancaster for 5 years. Father McGrath was always very kind to her and to me when I come in from out of town. His death was sudden but he is now resting in the loving arms of God.

He was a good man and a good priest who carried the cross of Christ bravely and without complaining. A good friend to our family . With fond memories may God have mercy on him and grant him peace and may the perpetual light shine upon him.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the death of Fr. McGrath. I remember him as an altar boy at Our Lady of Victory Basilica. Always very pleasant and kind. After I was ordained a priest, he was very supportive especially when I became the administrator of Corpus Christi CHurch in Buffalo. He made it to all our events. May God grant him heaven.
