To the Stockman Family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you. I have many wonderful memories of both your Mom and Dad. (I still can recall your Dad's "laugh.") The "neighborhood gang" really knew how to party. I recall watching from upstairs as the gang came in for "card night" (did they see us spying on them?), going to the cottages on the island or in Canada (Roslund's), and Sandy Beach. Gosh they were a unique group who had lots of fun together. There was a party at your house for one of you and it was the first time I saw a priest drinking a beer!! Yeek!!! I also recall a party at Tighlman's and Jimmy sat in the car most of the time listening to a ball game or something on the radio. John and I also enjoyed meeting your Mom, my Mom and the rest of that gang (Biggie's, etc.) at Mitchell's from time to time. Mrs. S. was so comforting to me after my Mom passed away and I enjoyed our phone conversations.
She spoke so highly of all of you and especially her grandchildren. She was so proud..... I was fortunate to have her touch my life.
Peace on Earth....
