My condolences to all who loved and knew Erna. I remember this most thoughtful and caring individual from her church organ playing, singing and choir leadership at Bethel Lutheran Church. As an adolescent, I joinded Bethel’s choir and matured under her leadership, sensitivity and loving guidance to grow in the eyes of my lord and our church. She was, and continues to be, a memorable and influential spirit in my life

Erna was a very special lady. Some of my fondest memories from my youth are of the area Luther League Choir presentations and rehearsals. I'll always remember how Erna put her heart and soul into "This I Believe" - a magnificent tribute to the Lord. Heaven's choirs will be greatly enriched with Erna! My sympathies to Martha and the family.
