The fact that you are gone seems so unreal
I wonder when my heart will heal.
Nothing has been the same since you left
But I know in Heaven it was Grandpa that you met.
I have sorrow in my heart, tears in my eyes
Though I know a grandmother’s love never dies.
We shared so many laughs and so many tears
I am so thankful that I had you these past years.
I know that I told you it was OK to leave
Only because I thought it was what you would need.
In my heart I was begging for you to stay.
But knowing deep down you didn’t want it that way.
Your work on this earth was complete
Loved ones in Heaven you wanted to meet.
You went on up to hear the cherubs sing
Riding all the way I’m sure on angel’s wings.
Thinking about you especially today
On this your 95th birthday.
I’ll blow out a candle just for you
And send a hug and kiss for you and Grandpa too.
I wish for you nothing but peace and love
And ask that you watch over me from Heaven above.
I’ll see you in my dreams each night when I sleep
And hold you in my heart forever to keep.
I miss you so much Gram.
Love Kathy

Gram,
I'll remember our trips to the garden center, your laugh and your soft white hair. I'll remember your little sayings and stories; those will be passed on.
You will be so terribly missed, but we know how much you missed Grampa and Oh! What a party there must be going on in Heaven!
Jim, David and I love you and we are so grateful to have had you in our lives.
I'll see you out in the garden, Gram!
Love, love, love...

Gram - its only been a few days and I already miss you so very much. Its hard to believe that you are gone, but I know that you are happy in heaven with Grandpa. I bet you have the nicest flower garden up there! And I know that you will watch over each and everyone of us. I love you with all my heart and will think of you every time I see Nikki and Cindy. Please give Grandpa a kiss for me.
