Gus Russo

The Kozlowski's,
You might remember me as coach Gus Russo along with my brother, Ross, we helped Bill Russell for a few yrs. at 'Airlanes Jr. Football' in Losson Pk. Your son was an amazing boy and player for us back then. I had pushed Mr. Russell to making Larry our QB because he demonstrated more than physical ability and know-how. He was a leader and all the boyz on the team respected him. He was by far the best player on our team. At the end of the year's banquet he signed my little yearbook of all the teams and cheerleaders(yes I remember his sister, too). He wrote: Dear Coach Gus; thanx for making me a better player. While I could argue with him about that; I knew he meant it.
To this day I site him somehow in my continued works with children and parents. It pains and gratifies me to write this. I can't pretend to miss him like all of you. But, I will miss him. I'm just so sorry I found out so late. My prayers will go out to your family and him, tonite.

Kozlowski Family,
I'm saddened to have read about the passing of Larry or Goober as I remember him from High School. Though we lost contact after High School I have never forgot him. Not many people could carry a nickname like Goober and be as cool as he was with a wealth of friends that thought he was so far from a Goober!
My heart is saddened and my prayers are with you. May the comfort of God and all your memories of Larry carry you during this difficult time.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
