I just heard about the loss of Larry and I am so very sorry!! I was at ECMC today and Leon told me. I pray that God comforts you, Larry, Rick and Michelle in this time of sorrow. My thought and prayers are with you although they are belated.

You might remember me as coach Gus Russo along with my brother, Ross, we helped Bill Russell for a few yrs. at 'Airlanes Jr. Football' in Losson Pk. Your son was an amazing boy and player for us back then. I had pushed Mr. Russell to making Larry our QB because he demonstrated more than physical ability and know-how. I am good friend of John Douds, Larry's good friend, who returns to Buffalo every year to watch the Bills play. I met Larry several times at his house. I am saddened by Larry's death and wish everyone there peace in your time of sorrow.

Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

We cannot imagine your sorrow. We know how much Larry struggled and of your tender care and devotion to him. You and your family will be in our prayers.

I'm saddened to have read about the passing of Larry or Goober as I remember him from High School. Though we lost contact after High School I have never forgot him. Not many people could carry a nickname like Goober and be as cool as he was with a wealth of friends that thought he was so far from a Goober!
My heart is saddened and my prayers are with you. May the comfort of God and all your memories of Larry carry you during this difficult time.
