To Syb & Paulette , Derrick
It's been a month now and to know that we will not talk, or see him has been hard, but we will make it.He was such a great Uncle to my brother and I and for this I am grateful.I loved him and miss him. But thanks to you all for taking care of my Uncle in his illness and just when he did not feel good. There's a lot that I could say about how he cared for me and others but you all know that, I am just glad that he was a part of my life, and youall will remain a part of my life . Take care, we will understand it all better after awhile, Love you, Evelyn

My dear Sybrnee and Children,
Although I am deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Rev. Paul F. Thompson, we must remember that it has been because of his strength, his love, and his wisdom that our lives are enriched and we are exceedingly blessed because he lived.
There are simply no words that can express how much we love and miss him. I hope that you find peace in these words: Our faith tells us that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Please find comfort in knowing that the Lord will shepherd and guide you with strength during this difficult time. I weep with you but know that joy comes in the morning.

To the Thompson family,
You have our deepest sympathy. Rev. Thompson will truly be missed. He was such a good, kind, compassionate and caring man. He reached out to his church members as well as people that did not belong to his congregation. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs. Thompson and Family,
It was just three years ago that Rev. Thompson was here with us and married Heloise and Percy. As our family minster and the "son" daddy never had, we always felt very privileged and proud that he was a part of our family also. Our love is with you and the family. We hold you in our prayers.

Dear Sybrnee—
Rose Marie and I were saddened today to learn of the passing of Paul. We have known and appreciated Paul and you ever since we first met both of you in 1972. That is a long time! It was very special to us that both of you drove to Syracuse three years ago this month to be with us as we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Eastwood Baptist Church!
We will miss his Christmas poem.
You and your family are and will be in our thoughts and prayers.
May God bless you and your family.
With our love,
Ursuline Bankhead

Thompson Family- Pastor Thompson meant so much to my family. He watched me grow up, married my husband and I. And most importantly, he was a support when I needed one, whether I was away at college or living 3,000 miles away. He helped shape my spiritual being and reminded me that God is found in several places if we just look.
Thank you for being so generous in sharing him with the rest of us. My family thanks you for that kindness and we will greatly miss him.
