To all who love Phil,
Mr. Phil Penepent was an exceptional man. He was nothing less than a generous, caring and loving man. I met Phil in Batavia N.Y. in 2004. I was homeless with a three year old son. I had been put up in a motel for a few days and I was miserable. I was searching for a small home where I could be safe with my baby. I made a call about a one bedroom apartment and explained my serious situation to phil over the phone. He drove to where I was temporarily staying and took me to my new home. Phil was supportive and helpful to us. He would talk to me when I was down, and drove me to appointment's that I needed to be at to better my life. I decided to go to Genesee Community College however I did not have reliable transportation. Phil drove me to night school. With out Phil's help I would not of been able to attend. Phil made it possible for me to attend on whole semester at GCC until I was able to get a vehicle on my own. I had moved out of his one bedroom apartment and was able to get a beautiful two bedroom house with twenty-two acres of land. Phil and I had stayed in touch for some time, but our talks began to get farther apart. I regret that. I never, however stopped thinking of him, nor will I ever forget what he has done for me. I will miss Phil. I will hold on to my memories until the day I die. When I walk down a sidewalk and I see a penny, I will now and forever pick It up for Phil. Thank you Phil and I will do my best to finish school in memory of you.
With Love,
Susan Grace

There are now two guardian angels, walking hand-in-hand, to watch over all of you. Mary Ann, remember that our Lady of Lourdes has a special spot for your Dad.
