I knew Dave for many years working for the town part time. I am in shock that he pass so quickly at a young age. I will miss Dave seeing him around town and having a laugh working together, and his dad Harold, He was also a great guy.

Dear Pierce Family:
I grew up with Dave in Marilla, our families did a lot of things together. We were in school from kindergarten through high school graduation. My Dad and Harold were good friends, as was my Uncle Mike who would come visit most summers during carnival time from Virginia. We had many 4th of July picnics at the Kingsleys down the road as well. Dave was a great person and loved by many. I have not lived in Marilla since I got married and was shocked to hear from my Mom and sister of your great saddness and sorrow. I will keep all of you in may prayers and thoughts.

To Monica and Dave's family and friends ... how sad I was to hear the news of Dave's death. I too am a high school friend of Dave's. The last time I saw Dave and Monica, we were all at a suite at a Bison's game.
When trying to think of something profound to say to somehow start the healing ... all I kept thinking about was this - the Serenity prayer ...
God, grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change,
the COURAGE to change the things I can, and the WISDOM to know the difference.
May the compassion and prayers of all those around you, give you the strength and courage you now need.
Keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers. My friend Dave will never be forgotten. He was a kind and gentle soul.

To My Loving Family;
I do not have words to say to bring him back, although I wish I would.
I love you Uncle Dave and I will miss you! Keep an eye out for Charlie, Noel, Alex, Jack and Natalie! The lil ones will sure miss the rides on the tractors.
Say hello to Pop. I'm sure you two will be the gaurdians angels for our family.
Michelle your like my sister- stay strong and tell Jack what a great Papa he had

Dave sat behind me in homeroom all through high school and if memory serves me, he was in my confirmation class at Faith Lutheran Church. I can still see him in his FFA jacket. I saw him at the MACC shortly before I moved and found him to be the same quiet guy as I remembered. I'm sorry for your loss. Know that the void thats in your heart right now will soon fill up with happy memories.
