To the family of Helen Eakin, my deepest sympathy and condolances. I have a picture of Helen here by me as I write this and I know that she was a lovely woman. I am a friend of Linda and Bill and have come to know them quite well. I want you to know that Helen is watching over you all right this minute and is smiling and very happy. She is with
other loved ones now and is patiently awaiting for us to come be with her when our time is done.
All my love and hugs to the Eakin Family.

Linda and Rick....
Years have passed, but some how Pleasant Avenue has stayed the same, good friends, good neighbors...and wonderful Mom's ..like ours who loved and cared for those of us still left behind..we were so blessed to have them...in the latter years, I saw Helen only but a few times, but each time..she made me smile and always talked of love for you all..Bets, Linda and Rick..her world, her Lottery in life..Today my prayers are with you both and tears for our moms who have passed..so few words, so many memories...in my thoughts today and the days ahead..your childhood buddy, and friend..

I remember Helen from my young days in Wanakah. A vibrant, fun person to be around. We shared many cooking tips that brides need to know. Helen and Herm were wonderful Wayside people. June and Bill Pearl
