LORENTZ - LaVerne J. Of Lancaster, NY, age 93, August 31, 2008, beloved husband of the late Genevieve Jennie Pinderak Lorentz; dearest father of Janet (Richard) Waskow, James (Carol), Debra (David) Hausman and the late Lois (James) Gauthier and Dennis Lorentz; loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother of the late Charles (late Winifred) Lorentz. Friends may call Tuesday only 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the PAUL A. KLOC BLOSSOM CHAPELS, INC., 4680 Clinton St. (corner Borden Rd.), West Seneca (668-5666) where funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 8:30 and from St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 9:30. LaVerne was a life member of the Twin District Volunteer Fire Co. Flowers gratefully declined. Sentiment may be expressed through a contribution to Hospice Buffalo in memory of LaVerne J. Lorentz.

Gramp,
I will miss you greatly!!!!! I am sure there will be times when I pick up the phone to call. I will think of you every time I use Rusty's full name. It warms my heart that you were able to meet the little guy who will carry your name. Thank you for being my Gramp. A chapter finished in my life but will always be opened to view.
