I was very sorry to hear about Carol's passing. She was a kind person and an awesome drummer. She was admired. I was in the Melodiers with her long ago. She is now marching in God's band. Veronica Otremba (Marranca)

I too, was a member of the Melodiers Drum & Bugle Corps with Carol. When I joined, I was put in the drum line where all drummers start, on cymbals. Carol was already our lead snare drummer. I was amazed by her talent. It took me a minute to realize I wanted to be her. I asked her what I had to do and she smiled. "Work hard, then, play hard" I did. As I progressed, she had no problem correcting me. After she left, I became lead drummer. I still am drumming today with Mighty St Joe's D&B. This is a passion I owe to two very talented people, Kenny Peterson, our drum instructor and Carol. Thank you to both. And so, to Carol's family, my heart-felt condolences and prayers.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. I knew Carol from long ago. We were in Drum Corp together and she was an awesome drummer! Always had a 'smart aleck' remark for everything and that would send me into laughing jags!! She was one in a million!

Carol was my dearest friend. I miss her so much already. We shared so much together that I can't imagine not having her in my life any longer. I will cherish the memories we had forever. She was the most caring wonderul person I have ever known and I could never find another friend like Carol. No one could ever or will ever replace her in my heart.

Dear family and friends of Carol,
I've known Carol as a neighbor and friend for many years. I got to know her family well over the years. My heart goes out to all of you, espicially Dave, Sue and Tara as well as the rest of the family. I believe Carol is finally resting comfortably with the Lord.
