Many old memories of Dave and the Clouden family. The Cloudens lived on South Park Avenue in between Marilla and Ashton. I went to PS29 with his sister Peggy and still remember both of them. I can still see Dave hanging out in front of Vic's delicatessen. Dave wasn't that much older then I. Sorry to see him leave this world too early.

My tear filled and heartfelt sympathy to all of you. I am so saddened that I did not hear of this until today and was not able to say goodbye. I have thought of David many times in the last few months since I heard of his return to Buffalo. I wish I would have found a way to get in contact with him. David was a wonderful friend and a great person. He blessed many people with out even knowing he was doing it! He will be greatly missed.

Through our mutual love of music, Uncle Dave and I shared many enjoyable evenings. He was always in the back of the room nodding with approval when we played a blues tune. I hope he's with Luther Allison, Duane Allman, and all his other favorites , enjoying a good song!

There are few words that may offer comfort to those Uncle Dave has left behind. But we know this: that the difficulties life had for him will no longer pursue our loved Uncle, Brother, Father, and friend to many. The sudden and tragic loss has helped me to focus on the important things in life: love of family, friends, and bieng content to be just where I am. Unfortunately my family and I are unable to get home for the services. But our thoughts and prayers will be with you all during this most difficult time.

Dear Clouden Family,
Please accept the deepest condolences on behalf of the "Wheeler" Family on Downing Street. Many happy memories come to mind when we think of the old days and times shared. I especially have fond memories walking past the family homstead on South Park from St Ambrose School.
David never knew he was by first grammer school crush. I can remember my dad teasing me and saying if we ever got married we would have to have the reception at Letchworth State Park because there would be so many of us there.
My mom spent many a time at your family celebrations and still recalls them today at the age of 92. She thinks so highly of both your mom and dad.
David is now in the arms of our heavenly Father and at peace with him. Celebrating with your mom and dad along with other members of the family.
God Bless. With Deepest Sympathy.
