To the DeLong Family,
First I would like to say that I give my best and only wish I could help take your pain away. However only time can make that happen.
I have had the honor of knowing Tom for approximately 15 years, and through that we have went through some everlasting memories. Throughout high school we had our days of playing NHL 95, to always having a new bike to fix and then sell, to playing hockey everywhere possible. The laughs we had will never be forgotton. Tom was the definition of a gentleman, always respectful of everybody.
At this moment even though we may be sad and full of pain lets remember the positive outlook of how Tom was, and how he was able to make our lives better. Tom would want nothing else. He was a great man and we will never be able to forget him.
Tom I miss you and someday we will meet again!

To the DeLong family,
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I only knew Tom through passing, but I always said Hi. I live in the upper apartment (4) in the building. He always was in good spirits and usually working on a vehicle of his choosing outside. I wish I could have known him better, for he was a good man.
My prayers go out to you and yours.

Lee and the Delong Family,
My heart is saddened that you are all going through this. I only met Tom briefly at the fair this year, but I seen the glow in Lee's eyes, that he truly was wonderful to her. My children Corina and Vaughn spoke so highly of him after they heard the news. They only spent the one day with him and he truly impacted their hearts. I am so sorry to hear about this heartbreaking loss, but I do know that he will always be watching over you from the stars.

To Tom's Parents,
I am so sorry for your loss. Though I have only known Tom for the past 7 years or so, he will forever be in my heart. You raised a wonderful person and I know he'll be there waiting for all of us when our times come.
To Lee,
I am so sorry for your loss as well. In the 7 years I've known Tom, I've never seen him as happy as he has been since the two of you got together. Thank you so much for making sure he experienced true happiness while he was on this earth.
To Melissa,
As a sister myself, I can only imagine how you must be feeling. You should know that Tom always spoke very highly of you and worried about your safety and happiness. I know he'll still be looking out for you even though we can't see him.
To All of Tom's fmaily and friends,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this difficult time in your lives. I hope you know how loved Tom was and how much he loved all of you.

Lee and the Delong Family,
Words can never express how much Tom meant to us. We've not only lost a very close friend but a part of our family. He could make the worst times better just by listening and the best times even better by being there. He was loved and will forever be missed. In time, the pain may fade but the wonderful memories never will. God bless...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Melissa, Joann and Tom,
The right words escape me right now. I am still in shock and I can't remember when my heart felt this heavy. I only wish there was something I could do to take your pain away. God has a plan and someday we will find out why this had to happen. I can still hear Tom's laugh in my basement with the gang from the middle school and high school. He was always such a good friend to Jason. I can see them playing street hockey on Doris. Oh, for those simple, uncomplicated days...and Melissa, the last time I talked with Tom, about 5 months ago, he talked a lot about you and how he worried about you way out there without family around. He was so happy to see me and was always so polite when he would see me. A real gentleman. I will keep all of you in my prayers and if there is anything we can do for you, we are here, a place where Tom always seemed to feel at home.
With sympathy,
Molly Brzezicki
