Dear Plewniak Family,

Mr. Plewniak, Mrs. Plewniak, Jeremy & Jared -
I was absolutely shocked to hear the tragic news of Jason's passing, for some reason he popped into my mind a few days ago and now I know why. He's in a special place now looking down on us.

I've thought about you guys over the years, you were always such a loving family, so accepting, and that's exactly how I remember Jason. A kind and quiet friend, but his love for life and having fun drew people to him. I have wonderful memories of him, having a blast having sleepovers in your basement, going to hockey practice, games in the street, etc. He was a great friend, I've always thought about him, and will continue forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this painful time. I am truly sadden to hear of your loss. God bless.

Dear Barb, Jerry, Jeremy & Jared,

Our hearts ache for you and your family. The loss of such a precious life is an emptiness that is indescribable. Jason's smile could light up a room. We share the sorrow in your hearts and pray you will find strength and peace with God's love. Jason's life and love illuminates the hearts of so many. His memory will always be a part of all of us forever.

Jason. I guess I will start this by listing some memories i had with you. The first being when connies and I slept at Ivyhurst for the first time. We were downstairs being kind of roudy and you were upstairs. You yelled at Jeremy "Tell your stupid friends to shut up" and from that point on we became close, like when i woke you you up by serenading you with my saxophone at 4AM. You were so mad but you started laughing when you were yelling at me. I would just wander upstairs late at night hopin you would be up watching something because i knew we would just relax and have some good conversation. Most times you were up there watching something you DVR'd and we had the same taste in shows so that was nice. I still have a pair of jeans you gave to me because they were too long on you. You would appreciate how worn in they are. They have character. I wish we had more time and ill miss the times we did spend together. You were a great friend. Jeremy being my best friend that made you like a brother to me and thats how i really felt. I know you are not in pain anymore and that you are looking down on all of us. I can hear your comments when I do certain things. Love you buddy, see you when i see you.

Okay I had to leave a quote from the Doors here that i know you appreciate:

Song: Crystal Ship

"The days are bright and filled with pain,
Enclose me in your gentle rain,
The time you ran was too insane,
We'll meet again, we'll meet again."

To the Plewniak Family,
The pain of losing a loved one does not go away. Upon hearing the news of Jason’s passing, We, as a Family, felt a sorrow similar to the loss we suffered last year. Both of our families want to have our loved ones physically here with us, to continue as a son, brother, nephew, grandchild or a close friend. We will miss telling them we love them, talking to them and being around them. We, as a Family, have come to find, although our loved one is no longer physically here, we can still see him in ourselves and his acquaintances. Jason has touched many lives. Although Jason is no longer physically here, we will continue to see him in your family and the many people he touched. The support you receive from loved ones and Jason’s acquaintances will help you through this tragic time. Jason loved life and it was infectious being around him. He was a polite, well mannered young man. We were very fond of Jason. The Golach Family is sorry to hear of losing Jason. You have our deepest sympathy and support.

Living with Jason the past two years has brought a lot of joy into my life. His positive attitude and genuine friendship has meant the world to me. I will miss our late night talks, movie nights, and most of all, the memories. I remember one night when I was alone and Jason was home. I had never played "uno" before and Jason was so excited to teach me. I have played this game many times since then and whenever I play it in the future I will think of him. This is just one of the special memories I hold in my heart. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My memories of Jay go back to pee wee hockey out at Wheatfield. Jay was the funniest and one of the best defensive partners I could ask for. He was never flamboyant about his humor but if you caught one of his quiet one-liners you would laugh about for hours after the game even ended. Some of my favorite memories from Junior B road trips involved situations that Jay and I found ourselves in.
Jay, I know I can speak for everyone who played on our hockey teams over the years, we will miss you! Hopefully you can score some goals in Heaven because we could never score any down here.
