William Farry Obituary

FARRY -William Died at age 71, on Sept. 11, in Arlington TX, after a courageous battle with cancer. Catholic funeral services were held in Arlington on Sept. 15. Bill was born in Buffalo. He graduated from Canisius High School, served two years in the Army, won a scholarship from J.W. Clement Printing Co., and obtained a degree in Printing Management from Carnegie Mellon University. He began his career as a Catalogue Production Manager for Sears and Roebuck. Subsequently, he worked for several printing companies in Chicago, Atlanta, Rhode Island and Texas. He worked briefly in the Information Technology Industry and then opened his own retail and wholesale photography Lab which he operated for 20 years. His hobbies included reading, puzzles, cooking and home repairs. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary (Nicholson) and his brother Thomas. Survivors include his wife Janet (Bowersox), children Bill Jr.(Monica), Richard (Sandra) and Kathleen; granddaughters Marissa, Katarina and Christa; his brothers James (Beverly), Kevin (Marilee), Jack, and sister Maryanne (Richard) McKendry including many nieces and nephews.
