VONA - Allene M. Age 92, of Tonawanda, after a brief illness. Allene was a member of St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church. Wife of the late James V. Vona and mother of the late James V. Vona, Jr.; loving mother of Valerie (Ronald) Colatarci of Tonawanda, Diane (John) Jacob of North Tonawanda and Daniel (Kathy) Vona of North Tonawanda; beloved grandmother of Alisa (Jon) Reimann, Maria (John) Chiarenza, Diana (Joseph) Aiello, J. Rick (Pamela) Jacob, John (Lara) Jacob, Jillian (Robert) Dura, Daniel (Karen) Vona, Jr., Devonie (Michael) Lorigo and Gina Vona; also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law of Jacqueline J. Vona. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Chapel, Adam Street near Seymour Street, Tonawanda on Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM. Private Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Directions, On-Line Register Book and Obituary can be found at www.brunnerfuneralhome.com.
