James Schaefer Obituary

SCHAEFER - James N. Of Lackawanna, suddenly September 22, 2008; beloved Husband of Kristina M. (Schmidt) Schaefer; father of Edward, Nicholas, James and Gregory; step-Father of Amy and William; dearest brother of David (Cindy), Daniel and the late Rose Marie (James) Leary; son of the late Edward and Rose (Eagan) Schaefer. Also survived by many grandchildren. Mr. Schaefer was a Beloved Friend of many. Cremation Services by the NORMAN E. GANNON & SONS, INC. FUNERAL HOME 1075 Ridge Rd.; Lackawanna (824-4000) have taken place. Friends are invited to join the family for The Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Victory Basilica Friday at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials to The Cause for the Canonization of Father Baker.
