SZAFRAN - Eleanor L. (nee Zborowski) September 26, 2008, at age 89, beloved wife of the late Edward S. Szafran; devoted mother of Richard (Sharon) Szafran, Noreen (late James) Baca and Gregory (Jane) Szafran of Avon, NY; grandmother of six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; dearest sister of the late Jane Olszanski and Edwin Zborowski. The family will be present on Monday from 4-8 PM at (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (corner Hopkins Rd), where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from Sacred Heart Church, Bowmansville at 10 AM. Entombment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Women and Childrens Hospital of Buffalo. Online register book at www.Amigone.com
