Marjorie Flinchbaugh Obituary

FLINCHBAUGH - Marjorie (Magner) born January 12, 1915, wife of the late Harry Z. Magner and wife of the late Everett Flinchbaugh; mother of Scott (Sharon) Magner of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Marti (Tom) Grossman of San Rafael, Ca, Barbara (Walter) Rush of Denver, Co.; grandmother of Todd(Chris) Magner, Tracy (John) Pheifer, Karl (Jenn) Pelletier, Marty Pelletier, Tyler (Beth) Grossman and Tim Grossman; also survived by 6 great grandchildren. As a member of Lafayette Ave. Presbyterian Church since 1938, she was a volunteer of Loaves & Fishes(11) yrs, former Chairman of Deacons Board, on Elders Board and President of the Guild-Auxilary; past President of Womens Association of the Sandy Beach Yacht Club. Her greatest love was her family and many friends. Memorial service at Lafayette Presbyterian Church, 875 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo on Thursday October 2 at 4 PM with reception to follow. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Layfatette Presbyterian Church, ( address above) or North Presbyterian Church, 300 N. Forest Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221.

Grandma was the matriarch of the family and brought soo many people together. Her love and encouragement was inspiring to everyone she met. We should all hope to live as passionately, responsibly and happily as her. I love you and will miss you forever grandma!

Aunt Marge will be truly missed. I looked foreward to seeing her everytime I would come up in the summer. So sorry I could not come up for the memorial service, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
