Don and I are so deeply saddened. Last week his goddaughter Christine passed and now this. It is almost too much. We are feeling so emotionally connected to the whole family right now because of our common grief. Lonnie was more brother than brother-in-law to Don, and I will never forget all our common fishing and hunting stories.
His good sense and decency, trying to keep peace and make people look at themselves helped us be better people too. He will be greatly missed. It is times like this, that living so far away makes it all the harder to share our most terrible times. Love you everyone. Don and Carole

Dear Flo and family,
Lonnie was a truly wonderful man. We will miss him so much and he loved and was loved very much by us all - Dan, Tammy, Shannon, Liam and Hank. He was like a grandpa to my kids and the wonderful memories we have of him will live with our family forever.

Dear Flo, Our lives were alittle bit better because we knew Lonnie, He was witty, sometimes serious, sometimes funny, but always a gentleman. We both know how much you will miss him. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Lonnie was like a father to me after I lost my dad some years ago. He was always willing to help or offer advice. I always looked forward to his visits with Missy and Nickie and we would chat for hours about everything under the sun.
I will truly miss his advice, good humor and his passion about his family, friends and all things he cared about.
My condolences go out to Lonnie's family, Flo, Doug, Denise and Dawn and their families and all others that feel his loss as I do.
We have lost someone special.
