Thaddeus Buchalski Obituary

BUCHALSKI - Thaddeus Teddy Age 90, October 1, 2008 of Sloan N.Y. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Lukasiewicz); dearest father of Sandra (Walter) Burkhardt, Karen (Gary) Haas and Elaine Buchalski (Michael Winkelman); survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brother of Genevieve Nowicki and Dorothy Kuczka; predeceased by six brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass to be held on Wednesday, October 8th in St. Andrews R.C. Church, corner of Reiman & Crocker Sts. in Sloan. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Andrews Church, 34 Francis St., Sloan N.Y., 14212. Teddy was a proud WW II veteran and amateur radio pioneer. Arrangements by the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME.

My prayers and deepest sympathy go out to you and your family on the loss of Mr. Buchalski. He was a good man, very wise and talented and always had a smile and kind word for everyone. He will be greatly missed.

not only was uncle teddy my god father,but i can remember going to his house and he would pull out an old banjo and play it. he was a man who had a joke just to cheer you up, he will be missed by many.

Ted was a good friend to me and my son I enjoyed his jokes and the story he told me about Sloan when it was a small village with barns and a creek he will be miss
