SMEEDING - Marjorie H. (Thompson) October 5, 2008, wife of the late Edwin C. Smeeding Jr.; mother of Timothy M., James E. (Anne Van Kleeck), Thomas G. (Diane), John A. (Debby) and Margaret Kilga; grandmother of Ryan, Erin, Lauren, Patrick, Nicholas, Joseph, Madeline and Zackary; great-grandmother of Mariah; sister of Ruth (late Richard) Auer; special relative of Mary Ann Laubacher. Friends may call Wednesday 7-9 and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the (West Seneca Chapel) THOMAS H. McCARTHY FUNERAL HOME, 250 Orchard Park Rd. (same location as Sieck & Mast Funeral Home), 825-4455, where funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 and from St. Teresas Church at 9:30. Mrs Smeeding formerly resided in Spring Hill, FL. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Mount Mercy Academy or Hospice Buffalo.

Hi Margaret,
Your Mom was such a good Mom, who was involved in everything at St Teresa's and Mt Mercy- she was always around helping here and there. You can take comfort in knowing she touched alot of people's lives that you may not even remember, but she left a wonderful imprsssion to anyone who met her. What a wonderful Lady!

My deepest sympathies to the family of Marjorie. I served her meals at Pilgrim's. When I heard she was ill, I made a special point to go and see her this past Saturday in her room, something I am so glad I did. May you all find comfort in knowing what a sweet wonderful lady Marjorie was to everyone at Pilgrim's. The "Princess" will be missed.
