To the Coppola Family - always my dear friends and neighbors. I am saddened to hear of your Mom's death but know she is in the arms of the Lord next to her beloved Joe. My early memories in O.P. are of her and a sense of how deeply she loved him. I saw her as an especially devoted mother, very protective and strict but filled with love for all of you. She was always so kind to me. I see the pizza on the kitchen counter fresh from Baci's or was it Coppolas pizzeria? I see the garage open in the summer with the screen up and your Mom at the mangle on those hot days. I remember her courage at learning to drive and setting out to work.I remember her beautiful Christmas trees that she tediously decorated with some spun glass material and put pretty reflectors on each branch. Her immaculate home was a showplace for all. I see your grandparents, the Driscolls visiting - he with a big grin, both with brogues. Your mother was so proud of all of you. I am blessed to have known her and to have stayed in touch by quick visits when I was at VNA and went to the independent living facility in Hamburg as a nurse for others. I would knock on her door and give a quick hello, never knowing if she wanted a visit but hoping to cheer her. I am so impressed with the continuous devotion and love you have given her over the years and the care she received. I send my love and condolences. Sharon Sheehan Glavey
