I did not know Lee Bush very well, I have only met him twice when I would visit Amy. But Lee made me feel welcome in his home, like he has known me a long time. I will always remember him.
My prayers are with his family.

Lee Bush, my BEST friends dad. Kind of a dad to all of us. Probably the sweetest most selfless man I have ever known. A lot of people might have thought it a little bit silly to drive 600 miles to be at my friends dad's funeral. . . but there was no doubt in my mind that I needed to be there. Not just for my friend, but to pay my utmost respects for such a peaceful, sweet man.
Something that I took home with me after that weekend was . . . at the final viewing, before the services, how much laughter I heard in the room. It was VERY indicative of the type of man he was. . always positive, always looking on the bright side of things, always up for a good laugh!
I know how much Amy adored her dad and I feel her pain every day. But along with the pain is the comfort in the knowledge that he is finally at peace with his wife. Watching over us still with his infinate wisdom and charm.
My heart goes out to the whole family.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Peace

I love my grandpa with all my heart and i wish I had known him before he had gotten sick. My mom would always talk about how he was such a lovable man and I think he was that way up until he took his very last breath.
Happy Halloween

Dear Bush Family,
Lee was such a warm, frinedly and caring man. No matter how he was feeling, and he had some pretty rough days, he always asked "how are you doing?" He often talked about his family, especially the grandchildren, who he loved very much. We will miss Lee here at the unit. He was a big part of our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
