Carolyn Herer Obituary

HERER - Carolyn June Passed away on October 10, 2008 in Jupiter, FL. The daughter of Zelma Nancy McHenry and Edward Clinton McHenry, Carolyn was born in Wheelersburg, Ohio on June 16, 1941, the youngest of nine children. In 1967, while in Malaysia, Carolyn married Dr. Sanmugam Paramsothy and had two children, Sunita Param-Olazabal and Jay Paramsothy. She and her family moved to Buffalo, New York in 1978. Carolyn remarried Mr. Harvey Herer and relocated to Jupiter, Florida in 1989. Carolyn is survived by her husband Mr. Harvey Herer; her two children, Sunita Param-Olazabal and husband Jason, and Jay Paramsothy and wife Katie Armstrong; five siblings, Louvinda, Virginia, Catherine, Shirley, and Emil; three stepchildren, Jodi Levine and husband Mitch, Amy Morris and husband Miles, David Herer and wife Eva; and eight grandchildren: Lalita, Max, Alissa, Molly, Oscar, Henry, A.J. and Katie. In lieu of flowers please make donations to University of Miami, ALS Research in honor of the Carolyn Herer Fund. These donations should be sent to Susan Fox Rosellini, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, 1120 NW 14th Street, Miami, FL 33136.
