Jim, Karen, Jason and Kaelyn,
First let me tell you that our family was truly blessed to know your parents! What a beautiful service on Monday. A true testament to a life well lived for Christ!!! My girls always loved going to "Mrs. Leo's store" aka Walmart, and she always had a smile to share! My children have been ministered to by both of your parents through so many ministries at the church, AWANA and Sunday School just to name a few. Your dad was such an example of Christ-like living. He looked for opportunites to serve, where others would not necessarily notice, and was always quick to genuinely welcome people (whether they were old friends, or ones he had yet to meet!) On behalf of our family, we want to share our condolences with you, and to let you know that you continue to be in our prayers!

Jim, Karen and Jason,
I was deeply shocked at your father's passing. He was a wonderful person. He did my hair for 25 years and I am proud and honored to be able to call him friend.
I will always carry many happy memories of those 25 years. My deepest condolences to the entire Leo family.

Karen, Jim and Jason,
We are so deeply sorry for the loss of your father and a truly great man. Bob and Carol always made us feel like a part of the family and Terry has always talked highly of both of them. Your parents are together again and watching over their three precious children. They love you all so much and will always be with you to guide you through your lives. May you find comfort in your beautiful memories, Debbie and Terry Pierce

Hi everyone this is Karen I want to thank all of u for these entries they really mean alot to us.People have said, that the loss of a perant is one of life's most traumatic events.I know the devestating truth of that statement. We've been told that,in time, the hurt will fade, only to be replaced by positive memories that sooth your soul.Already I can feel that happening. Some of you might not know this but my dad was the most loving caring father a daughter could ever ask for.Not to mention the best papa to his #1 girl his grandaughter,my niece,Kaelyn. My dad always put our familys well being above his own.He loved and cared for my mom so much, and when she became ill he never left her side, and always made sure she was comfortable untill the very end.My dads character,to sum it up,he was the jack of all trades. Some of my memories go to how my dad loved to entertain,or have parties at the house. He absoutly loved ti cook.I rember how all my friends loved coming over to eat because our house always had the best food,,full bowls of hard candy, cookies, and if you wanted something spaciffic dad wouldnt hesitate to cook it!Times were tough as my dad spent the last year in an out of the hospital. But he was in such good shape over the summer,it felt good to see him as his old self.He was working around the house, finishing many little projects. We made it to the Leo family reunion, which i know he really enjoyed. He also came to a 4th of July party at my brother-in laws house on the water, where he spent most of the day fishing. He played horse shoes with Scott and we had some great BBQ.I'm so thankful we had a good summer! It has been a very difficult 2-1/2 years.I'm going to miss my parents so much, but I know in my heart they are in a better place.A place where there is no suffering,no tears,& just happiness.Someday I'll see them again, but untill then, they will remain in my heart and great memories.
