I'm very sorry for your loss, I got the sad news this AM (Monday). I always enjoyed being around Uncle Gene, he was a very friendly and funny guy. He will be missed, I wish I could have been there. Your thoughts and prayers are with me.

Gene, June and family,
Dennis called me late last night to tell me about the passing of your Dad. Please accept our deepest sympathy. I remember your Dad as always smiling, very easy going and deeply devoted to his family. I remember him telling me how he used to take Gene for a ride to get him to sleep. I also remember how he was always there for you as adults as well. He will surely be missed by all of you - but he will live on through all of you. May fond memories comfort you during this difficult time. I'm sorry I didn't know in time to extend my condolences in person. God Bless!
