Dear Wactawski Family, My deepest sympathies to you all. I send my regards and know I would be there to express them in person if I could. I remember growing up knowing what a delightful man Jashu was and always highly regarded him. He always made me feel welcome to their home. As a teenager in a friends home that was pretty impressive. He will be sadly missed by many, he left an indelible mark on NT/Ton.

Dear Aunt Betty, Barb, Jean, Gail and Families,
We are very sorry to hear about the loss of Uncle John. It's hard to know what to say at this sad time because your loss is so great and because Uncle John will be missed in so many ways. No amount of time can prepare us for a loss and no one can fully understand your sorrow. But even though no words can truly comfort you, perhaps they can in some small way express the care and concern that's felt for you now. Many hearts are with you, hoping you will have the strength you need to see you through this difficult time. May memories keep Uncle John always in your heart and mind. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Jamie, Dick, Kyle, Brett & Jodi

Way back growing up in N.T., we would all get together at Christmas. When it came time to open the gifts, as a joke, dear Uncle John would receive either a tie, or a pair of socks, or a piece of Tupperware, while the rest of us got lots of stuff. He always made any event funnier because of his sense of humor. I loved him very much.

To the Wactawski Family:
Of all the teachers I had at Riverview School, Mr. W. has been one that I have always remembered. Over the years, everytime I would pass your home, I would remember him as always being there for all of us, as a source of good counsel.
He was a disciplinarian when he had to be, but liked to make us laugh, too. He was one of the teachers who showed respect for his students, as we also admired and showed respect for him.
Mr. Wactawski was devoted to his profession and students.

John was my gym teacher in elementary school in Tonawanda (Riverview). He was a great teacher and quite inspirational. He was one of the main reasons I still stay active in sports at the age of 53. Thank you "Coach" ..... God Bless you and your family....
