Marilyn Carney Obituary

CARNEY - Marilyn (nee McLean) October 26, 2008. Wife of Edward Carney; mother of Brian, Andrew (Maureen) and Timothy (Sarah) Carney; sister of J. Richard (Evelyn) and Bruce (Patricia) McLean; also survived by seven grandchildren. Funeral from the CHAS. F. McMAHON FUNERAL HOME INC., 982 Abbott Rd., Thursday at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church at 9:30 AM. Friends may call Wednesday from 3-8 PM.

Although we did not know Marilyn, we are certain that her son, Tim is an extension of her outstanding character. An apple does not fall far from the tree on which it grew, or on the branch that nurtured its growth. His mother lives on through the noble deeds that Tim continues to perform. His positive impact on our community is a reflection of his mother's grace and goodness...
