I am sorry to hear about Carol. My sympathies go out to all of you. My Uncle Norm told me she was very peaceful near the end. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jacki, Scott, Benny and family. Carol was the "Perfect Friend". She was kind, loving, patient, caring and generous to all people who had the priviledge of knowing her. She never had anything bad to say about anyone. Her love for life and all her family, friends, and all of God's creatures and creations will always remain in our memory and hearts. Carol is now safely home and is resting in the arms of Jesus. I thank Almighty God for granting me the honor of being her friend. In Thanksgiving-----Joanne C.

Dear family of Carol,
I had the honor of getting to know Carol the past 8 years. She was like a third Grandmother to me and my brother. I will never forget all the memories and fun times that we had together - One of the first was going in the Cave of the Winds/Maid of the Mist. I will also never forget working on the waterfall at Treestump, going to Treestump with you at Grandpa K many times, going to the Lounging Leopard for the first time, going to Cancun three times with you. I'll never forget the first time I went to Cancun and was terrified of flying for the first time and Carol sat next to me and told me I was going to me alright and everything would be okay - and it was. I was just looking over old pictures from those trips and smiled when I saw the ones of me, Evan, and Carol goofing around in the hotel room with balloons on our heads. It reminded me of how much fun we had during those weeks in April. One of my recent memories of Carol is one I'll never forget - after Grandpa K took me and Evan to get a haircut we went to Carol's house to hangout and the four of us were sitting around in Carol's living room eating ice cream - Evan and I both kept looking at each other funny while we were eating it and then Carol finally revealed that she had given us low-fat yogurt and not ice cream! We all had a good laugh about it, I will never forget her kindness, smile, laugh, and sense of humor. We'll all miss you.

Brenda and myself were so fortunate to have Carol in our lives. We miss her so greatly. I have always considered Carol a second mom. Both Brenda and myself have prayed for her dillinginly that god do whatever work he needed to do in her to take her home, and she has left this world she is now with the Lord. As it says to be absent from body is to be present with Christ. I am happy because we will see her again.
