Dear George and Pepe and family:
My friend Jack just emailed me the obituary, and I am so sorry for your loss and that I couldn't be there in person.
Your Mom Isaura was a great lady who touched many lives. I had many wonderful times as a young teen at your house. I'll never forget Isaura as the teacher who taught this Cuban refugee kid in 1962 how to "divide in English" and eat "American style", instead of "Continental".
Although I hadn't seen Isaura in many years, I maintained my great affection for her. You were blessed with a great Mamá.
